So.... anything to report? How is it holding up? I'm kinda thinking that I want one, but the problems that you experienced with the first one have made me avoid them.

And FWIW, I briefly owned a Springfield 1911 in .40 S&W, and it left me cold. I'm a huge 1911 fan, but the .40 S&W just doesn't do it for me. Meaning, if all I can shoot in a Ruger 10mm 1911 is .40 S&W equivalent ammo, I don't need one.

This newest pistol is holding up as it should, and shoots very well.

I also think the 10mm should be loaded at the original pressures and velocities, or what's the point? I shoot 180 grain at the 1200-1300+ fps level.
