My avatar, bought compliments of the federal government in March of '75; my 1st Ruger. If you lined up all my guns and looked for honest wear, this one is my favorite and the one I'd part with last. The bluing is thin, though not a scratch to be found. The memories in that .22 will last till I'm taken to my final resting place in a big black Cadillac.

I didn't put the wear on it but my dad did in WW2. Dad, myself, and my son have all shot it.

Husqvarna M/07 (Browning 1903 licensed clone), along with couple more vintage items.
The oldest original gun I have (made in 1920's). Also have two wheel locks, but those are modern reproductions.

This is my little Savage 101 .22 pistol.

This is a 1922 vintage Model 93 Mauser in its original 7 x 57mm. Right now it is at the gunsmith's getting a Skinner low profile peep sight added to it, the military sight has been taken off and the feed ramp has been polished and smoothed out.

Love those old single shot shotguns. We have a "hammer single" hunt every year where you have to use a....single shot with a hammer. Great fun. Great alibis, too. Any guage, .410 to 10 is allowed, and we've seen 'em all. The .410s outshoot the 10s, tho.
