Good morning

Looking at possibly getting a rifle with no bolt. It's a ruger m77 22lr with the skeleton stock. It's there a source for a replacement?

Thanks

I don't know but ….. I'd first call Ruger and look at the usual internet sources like Numrich, MidwayUSA, Brownells, etc.

Numrich shows them "out of stock" but the $78 price tag was a little less than I would of guessed.

Kind of off-track, but how in the heck does one come by a rifle with no bolt?

At one point, I had a bunch of rifles stored without bolts in a safe while I was pondering a larger safe. I could see a disrupting event (death, move, divorce, etc.) in that situation leading to a rifle being permanently separated from its bolt.

I don't know the story behind the rifle yet. But have an opportunity to purchase as part of a group. If I find out I'll let you know the specifics
