Is this it?

Nope . . . birdshead. :?

How 'bout this?

Better, but the barrel's too long.

Searched Ruger's site for 8168 and got no response. :(

FOUND IT!

True about the 8163. I was trying to say if it was mine that I would have to change the gf. I could find a project for the takeoff bisley gf I'm sure.

8163's are turning into hens teeth…just like the 22/22M Whitebird & Blackbird, All built with the standard hammer.

I see a lot of the new 8168 being turned into Birdshead, and no near impossible search for the Bisley hammer.

Better acquire a Birdshead Gripframe from Midway while they have them in stock.

I wanted a stainless Bisley Single 7, so I went ahead and made my own. I wish Ruger would quit making these .32's as I keep telling myself I don't need anymore of them and then when they come out I want one. :?

The one that I am thinking of that I feel is similar that they call baby vaquero is the ruger KRB-24FW. It was a 4 5/8 bisley 22lr with fixed sights and engraved cylinder

Anything Ruger made on their small frames with completely fixed sights (not rear sight windage adjustable only) have been called Baby Vaqueros.

However the .32 H&R Single Six with fixed sights, blue and stainless, were actually marketed by Ruger as the Vaquerito in magazine ads.

My .32 H&R 'Vaquerito' has the small plow handle grip frame which for the .32 is more than adequate.

Single-Seven? Naw ... should be a single-six. Not called six-shooters for nothing :) .

The 8168 was announced many months ago, no pics, just description at Lipseys from what I can see. Search web often for it. Have been hounding my FFL about it for a long time. I am a buyer if they get made, I like these 3.75 barreled revolvers a lot.

Edit: Checked Lipseys AGAIN and finally a pic, quit looking Lipseys for a while, gave up I guess, now hopeful some will appear!
