He could also be referring to the Varmint or Trainer models. There were at least seven different 452s before they were discontinued.

I bought a 452 American in 17HMR caliber, great shooting rifle not cheap.
Mine is as I said a great shooting rifle. After I spent several Hrs. working on it had to put a aftermarket trigger in it, had to bend the mag fowler before it would feed had to glass bed it.
Would I buy another one? Not at the prices people want for them, and I would only buy one in the late fall of the year that way I would have all winter to get it to shoot straight.

DeadNutz good copy of a 452 from Turkey with nice walnut and blue steel.
Did not buy the one I saw and regretted it ever since . Sadly ,not often found
