Why do we get this when we click "View your posts"? I get there's some reason to not allow searches every second, clogging up the system or whatever. But to view your own posts is something that presumably only works for the one person and is only going to be a one time thing in the short run so why can't you click that without the time out?

Don't know answer, but this and other similar messages pop up from time to time. Usually if I log off and back on, it starts working.

If this happens when you first log on, try waiting for the first full index-page screen of default results to show up before requesting anything else.

Ok, I haven't been on the site for a few hours and just got the message the very first thing clicking "view new posts". I literally did nothing else first, just click that and get the message. So that kills my idea it's a timer between times of clicking a search of any sort.

Our search function has been lousy for 13 years and we aren't going to fix it because the horsepower demands on the server are too high. You must use google to search the forum.
