"Pink chickens"

Cary's comment about the 'pink chickens' in Kevin's post reminded me of one of our trips to Nassau and the wife goofing off with the 'pink chickens'.

Any problems with theft or vandalism? I read a couple of years back that the folks who make the plastic pink chickens were ceasing production, and folks in some neighborhoods were putting them away because they'd become targets for thieves.

I seem to remember that they came in two versions. concrete pink chickens and plastic pink chickens. I'll bet the plastic ones were the favored targets.
