just maybe Mr keith was onto something, this came to us at this past weekends show and I kinda got attached to it, well done, well balanced and its an 'old model' to boot

I too have a "shorty" OM .44 mag I picked up in Harrisburg several years ago. It is a nice one! Mine originally came with a factory brass g/f,, which I removed,, & added a NM Bisley in stainless to the gun. And I added a stainless ERH too!
But I have other plans for this one soon too!

That dern thing can grow on you quite quickly!

I've had two cut-down Supers - a new model that I had cut to 5 1/2" and an old model that had been cut to 4 5/8". I liked the configuration but I've just never been able to get along with the Super grip, so they both went on down the road. I do have a a 3-screw flattop .44 that I had cut to 4 5/8". It's a keeper.
