Pretty is as pretty shoots. I don't think I've ever heard of a competition with an award for "Tightest Fitting Slide." If it shoots well (and reliably), that's all that matters! Rock on! :wink:

20 or 30 years ago , Philippines pistols rightfully had a reputation for variable quality steels , and inconsistent machining . Recent era ones are just fine . ( And most made in Turkey likewise)

The same guns from the same factories are sold by multiple importers . You may differentiate between them by the quality of their distribution and warranty service , of which RIA is generally well regarded .

A general note - Unless you are making a separate hobby of home gunsmithing , it is more economical to purchase whatever configuration you wish already upgraded , than to buy base model and change later .
