Single six white bird

I googled it and, nothing. So,

what's a 'white bird' single six please.....

Was hoping someone else would ask first....

Info I found on the other Ruger site says stainless 3.5 inch birdshead frame with with white grips, Vaquero style fixed sights.

A black bird has black grips.

And it should be noted that in these guns, the catalog number should end in "I" for Ivory.
There were only ~ 450 reportedly made with the "I" and they bring ~ $300 premium over the "Blackbird"
NO DIFFERENCE in the guns other than the designation in model # and the grips.

The Blackbirds are made from Mikarta, extremely durable…..

While the White Birds, made to imitate Ivory are some of the best imitation ivory looking made.
They are however VERY FRAGILE, EASY TO CHIP & BREAK from the ever so slightly over tighten the screw… BE CAREFUL :wink:

They don't make em anymore either, what's out there is diminishing.
