Several years ago a friend happily bought me a Dan Wesson barrel he found at a gun show.
Problem was it was NOT a Dan Wesson barrel.
What could I do , I took it anyway.
Another friend , that usually knows what he is lookin at swears it is threaded for a N frame S&W,,, but I have no way to check or verify that.
That is the best and all I can guarantee about it. Seems someone was making a S&W and DW style hybrid snubby.
It is 44 caliber with a sharp bore.
It is has a 3 3/4" barrel with a spring detent for ejector rod lockup. Looks to probably be a DW front sight ?
It has a much better chance of being used in your parts box than mine but for the adventurous only.
