Here is a blast from the past! Bill Davis was a nationally know competition shooter and gunsmith from the Sacramento,CA area who developed the unique series of hybrid revolvers in the late 70's known as Couger's and Smolt's. As the names imply, they are Colt Python barrels mated to Ruger or S&W revolvers .

This 4" Couger was built for me in 1979 on a Ruger Security Six stainless frame. The Python barrel has a satin finish which matches perfectly with the stainless steel frame. It was built with a combat tune action job and has adjustable sights. I shot this gun very little before placing in my collection. It is extremely accurate, reliable and crafted by a master.

I don't know how many of these were made or survive to this date, but here is a chance to collect a very desirable custom handgun. Included is the original Ruger box and an article from "Guns Magazine,12/1979" detailing the Couger story.

thanks for checking it out...email for pics
