Ruger American Hunter question

Anyone have the Ruger American Hunter?
I'm wanting one but I want to know with the high stock comb can you get the bolt out and use a cleaning rod guide and cleaning rod or will the high comb get in the way?

Just bought one in 308, did not try it with guide but a 1 piece rod it was no problem.

Pull bolt back, hit release, rotate bolt counterclockwise till rear of bolt angle will give more room and then remove. Put it back in the same way.

No room for my Dewey bore/chamber guide. Because the cheek piece obstructs entry some my stainless rods are too stiff but my .22 cal nylon coated Dewey rod works great.

Magpul should have made a little notch or channel right there but it is what it is.

Cheek pc is removable by removing one screw, sliding the LOP adjustment pc out, then lifting the riser off. Takes 30 seconds to do.
