I've been spending more time in the shop than I really should and my hands are becoming stiff and clumsy. Today, I was trying to change the action spring in my sub-sonic 10-22 and sent that little sleeve thingy that is between the spring and the bolt knob into the far reaches of my workspace. How important is that part?
I did find the spring and bolt handle and put it back together. A 9 round test run went fine and the KIDD reduced power spring seemed to improve the function with sub-sonic ammo.

Not needed. KIDD and most others don't use that sleeve, the spring sits directly on the handle.

I have a tiny workshop.... but it seems awfully large when looking for things 'launched'. I keep 'doubles' of lots of those things.... expensive (by my standards), but worth the peace of mind.
