It is a model from the third year of production. It should have small serial numbers, a straight recoil plate cross pin, and a steel ejector housing. RENE sets it at $530.00.

Yes, lots of differences.
In addition to what was mentioned, later guns have walnut grips with medallions. There are two different types of medallions, lightly stamped and heavy stamped - changed after 100xxx. The recoil plate cross pin is drilled straight through the topstrap on your gun, it was changed to angled through the gate opening at 26xxx.
And there are a couple different rollmark changes as well.
Your gun doesn't happen to be #2000 does it?
