Relocating and edited an unanswered post of mine from a waning thread (not mine) that asked whether the new NM 357s (non 50th) had the smaller XR3s now. (The answer was no, XR3 Reds as before). So: Do the new NM BH grips fit older XR3 Red's--like original/large Vaquero (even though w/o lock)? I've found the older XR3 Reds to be a little chunky for my small hands, but the 50th/Lipseys/New Vaquero to be too slim. I solve that (older/chunky) to most satisfaction by hand-slimming the old woods (NM Reds)--down to matching the frames at least--but nothing as far as the 50ths/NVs (I.e., after slimming, they still fill the hand nicely). I actually like the black "plastics" - after some home smoothing (000) -- so would like these new XR3 Reds on my old Vaquero if they'll fit.
