Good morning, All - No5Shooter is back to messing around with Rugers after an absence; life gets in the way sometimes...
At any rate, my curiosity got piqued recently by Emiliano Zapata, one of the heroes of the Mexican Revolution. At one time, Talo's got a special run of Vaqueros from Ruger celebrating Zapata and one of his more famous quotes: "Mejor morir de pie que vivir en rodillas". "Better to die on your feet than live on your knees". Great sentiment. My question is this: does anyone know if that run of revolvers was the new Vaquero or the old one? And the obvious follow-up, does anyone have one that needs a new home? I'm not a collector, more of an indiscriminate accumulator, so I'm not looking for a safe queen 'cuz if I happen across one it's gonna get shot!
Thanks for any info anyone can provide. And it's nice to get back on the forum and see what's on other Rugernuts' minds.
