I was told all Single Six Bisley's had non-fluted, engraved cylinders and adjustable sights.

Am I wrong?

Yes, early Single Six Bisley were shipped with fluted cylinders in limited numbers, Catalog #RB-22 = fixed sights and fluted cylinder, scarce according to RENE, and RB-22A= adjustable sights and fluted cylinder, approximately 100 units.

Hope this helps...by the way, i suggest you purchase a copy of the RENE Reference...it is your Ruger best friend.
