Hi all!
Title says it all; does Ruger still ship handguns in those grey plastic boxes? I don't see them for sale on Ruger's web site except one for a semiauto 22 grey plastic box.

Timely topic - just last weekend I was moving some things around and was thinking that my two Ruger grey plastic boxes (GP-100 and SP-101) are a lot nicer than my S&W, CZ, and Beretta boxes. Please understand that plastic boxes are not things that I normally spend ANY time considering, but I did over the weekend and then saw it again here.

The SP-101 (.22) was new last year so it addresses the subject of the thread, at least as of last year.

It looks like the new boxes are black with "sliding " latches /locks . I picked up my Jeff Quinn gp100 yesterday and is was in new designed box . While I was waited on my Background Check a young man came in for a Ruger 57 and it was in the same designed plastic box .

What ever in the case is gone almost immediately. That's a good reason to make friends, if they know
what your looking for they may put it aside for ya. ymmv.
Stop by a shop I sometimes go to he had powder, 100 bucks for a one pound Jug.
Never really liked the guy my opinion of him went even lower. ps
