I just need to ask. It is in 98% condition. 1958 manufacture date. I am in Canada. Our market here is almost non existent due to our rules and regs. So, I am looking at selling it back to someone in the USA through one of the sites which arranges cross border shipping. Can I please get some ballpark figures on value in the USA market? No box. It does come with original purchase information to original owner. He fired it twice and put it away. He purchased it on the 2nd of July 1958 from T. Eaton Co. for $127.00. Thanks....Dave

I have bought 4 digit 44 mags in that condition for $900-$1000 but havent bought one in about two years i would think it could get a little expensive to ship it thru a broker to bring it into the states just my thoughts

I agree Gramps on the cost of using the service to prepare the paperwork and to ship it. But......let me tell a story....I had two NIB very early Bearcats...one was built in the first week of production. Both were 98% condition. I was not allowed to ship them to the USA....rules on your side! So, I finally sold them here and got $225.00 each in Canadian funds! About $170.00 in US funds. I kept the boxes and will sell them here soon. Anyway....such is life under a Liberal government. If I got $1,000.00 in US funds it would equate to $1,350.00 in Canadian funds. I have an old Rene guide and price list but just wondered. Sadly, not my only Rugers to sell from my collection....a Security Six in 95% condition, a low back in 38 Special only. It is relatively worthless here! Also a NIB first week production Single Six 22 magnum. Sad in Canada.

Dantforth, I would think by now (or soon) you will be getting many PMs for that flattop. The $1k range makes sense to me. You should get good help from THIS forum. Good Luck with your sale.
p.s. I have acquaintances who are starting to dump their treasures in anticipation of our new socialist government continuing anti-gun legislation.
