Finally got around to taking some pics of my favorite .45, it's an "early inheritance" from my grandfather.
1972 OM .45 Blackhawk Convertible, mine also has a 2.5" barrel to go along with it. Still have the original box, but the shipping box is not the original, it's from when they shipped the gun back from Trapper Gun in Colorado in '79 when they did the work to the frame, the additional shortened barrel, and an action job. Crumpled inside is the packing material they grabbed from the current Shotgun News. Grips are by Fred Wenig, made as a favor, when they both worked at Fajens together. It's easily my most treasured possession.
