Was shooting my .30 Carbine New Model Blackhawk on saturday. Had 18 rounds left when I discovered the Base Pin Latch was gone. Looked & looked for its pieces. Get home and log in to shopruger.com. Found they do not offer "parts" on the website; only Sights, Holsters, & Grips.

First thing today I called and was immediately talking to a person. After answering their questions; I was told a Base Pin Latch would be sent to me in about seven working days, no charge.

Ruger is the only company I know of that this is standard, not an exception.

They did the same for me, twice, no charge (though different parts than yours). The Moen faucet company also did the same for a 15-year old faucet parts, though I was really expecting to pay.

Hi Point also has similar no questions asked customer service. But you've still only got a Hi Point.

I had to contact them once about a broken front sight. The lady wasn't rude but I could tell she didn't care about any story, just "tell me the part off of which gun and what is your address. " Problem solved!
