I found and bought a nib Ruger Single Six 5 1/2" stainless 17 hmr in the gray plastic box. The owner was asking $695.00. After a brief negotiation I was able to buy it for $600. The catch is I have never seen one, I own 9 stainless Single Sixes including 32 mag and 327 Single Seven. I have not ever heard of or certainly never seen one in 17 hmr. What are they worth and how many were made? Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks, Sergeant206

Yes,, they were made for a while. But not as common for sure. Now,, if it had been the convertible,, with the 17 MachII cylinder,, Hunter version,,, you would have stolen it.

I believe there were only a few hundred each of the stainless NM Super Single-Six with 5-1/2" and 6-1/2" barrels in .17 HMR.

Thanks to all for the education. I am glad to have found it. It would have been great if Ruger had included a 17 Mach II cylinder just like the 22 caliber versions imho.
I appreciate the replies, Sergeant206
