How about a Super Single Nine?

Ruger has shown it can think out of the box. The Wrangler is a big seller currently (actually the only Ruger revolver I see at many shops). The Single Ten is 22LR only and the Single Nine is 22Magnum rimfire only. Surely, they could sell a bunch of convertibles that shot both 22LR & 22Mag if they made nine shot 22LR cylinders for the Nine shot revolver.

I would want one (or several depending on grips, bbl length, etc.)

What does the group think? Will it ever happen?

I don't think the convertible cylinders even need to have the same number of holes, technically. The pawl from the Single 9 should rotate a 10 shot cylinder far enough to ensure lockup; all they'd need to do is offer a "convertible" with both cylinders.

That said, I really don't see the advantage of 9/10 over six in such a heavy revolver. I think what makes the Wrangler popular might be the low price and lighter weight.
