Serial# range for SS SBH

I posted this in the wrong place yesterday so today I will put it here. I am looking for the serial # range for SBH with 10.5" Bull Barrel in Stainless. What years did they make this item and do they still make it. I appreciate any effort to answer this for me....Thanks

I can't give you a definite range, but early 80's is the start. You need to verify if you have a tapered (KS410)or bull barrel (KS411). Tapered are in small supply.

Yes the Bull Barrel is current Catalog gun.

1983 is 84,

1985 changed to 85,

1990 changed to 86,

1998 changed to 87.

This is from the Serial Number lookup on Ruger.com ,,, to get there look at the bottom of the homepage, click; customer service, then to Serial Number look up.

The specific SN# post 2000 will give you the info.

Pre 2000 pulls up the old APPROXIMATE, using cut offs. This is further down the page and you have to select the model, ie: "NEW MODEL SUPER BLACKHAWK"

Thanks, I knew the numbers were there, just couldn't find them...I have a blued one with 84 prefix so the SS models are in the same serial # range...
