Question. New model grip frame question?.

Do all Ruger new model single action Ruger revolvers have steel grip frames or are some aluminum? Thank you!

It depends upon the model.
Some are steel, some an aluminum alloy, and now,, some are a zinc alloy.

All SS guns have SS grip frames.
All Vaqueros have steel grip frames.
All New Model flat Top Blackhawks have steel.
All Super Blackhawks have steel
All birdshead and Bisley grip frames are steel.

All single sixes, single nines and single tens have alloy.
All standard New Model Blackhawks have alloy.

Only the Wrangler .22s have zinc alloy.

the key word is "have", should be what they "usually come with",,,then along comes John, swaps his out,,,others see it, like it, do the same thing and in a few years ask this same question, and our grand children will have a field day.........gee just what frame is made of what, on what gun??.........ta daa
