Sometimes things just zip right past w/o being noticed.
I was very frustrated over the fitment issue with the sight dovetail optic mount I was trying to add to my P95. After getting all the hard stuff done and putting the slide back on the frame, I racked the slide and the hammer followed it closed. WELL CRAP, now what did I mess up. Fiddling with the de-cocker didn't make any diff and thumb cocking didn't work so WHAT DID I DO WRONG NOW?
After a long couple minutes of fiddling, yanking, and probing---wait for it---- I noticed the ejector was still lowered. Yupper, missed that step in the process. Admission of guilt.

I remember the folding ejector, and quickly learned to use a pencil to fold it over instead of my finger.

Glad you didn't suffer for too long. :D
