NRA Std Auto with cracked grips

anybody here have a problem with theirs. I pulled this out of the safe BOTH grips are cracked. The gun has never been fired and was stored in a climate controlled area. I have another than I'll have to check next week. Just wondering if this was a systemic factory problem with these off white plastic grips

Sounds to me like the screws were over tightened.

probably true but not by us . No doubt it never left the box until I opened it
