I have four blackhawk's in 357 magnum ( 3 4-5/8 and 1 6.5) also a Bisley with a 7.5 inch. Would love to have a 10 inch one.

A BKH-36 has just appeared, serial number 37564 that is smack in the middle of the 10" 8-groove block. This makes sense as where 37564 shows up, there are a total of 104 guns between the next closest BKH-30's before and after 37564. The 10's actually fall on average about 4 serial numbers apart.

Wish one of the moderators would let the edit be workable again on these old lists so we can continue updating those.

Not sure if a moderator added 37564 to the highlighted 10" numbers? I see it in a 10" group, don't remember it being there when I posted the previous comment... This gun definitely wears a 6-1/2" barrel as it is on Gunbroker right now. Not sure how it letters. It does have a correct non-INC. barrel address but looks like somebody put a set of XR3-RED walnut panels on.

Chad, let us know what you wanted added or changed.
You can send a PM to me or others or add a comment and then hit "Report" and all Mods and Admin will see it.

You want me to remove 37564 from the list on page 1?

Am I correct Chad that you to NOT see an "Edit" option at the bottom of the post in question?

I once owned 31621, 31622, 31623 & 31624 and 31627. I believe Lee E owns 31625 and now NRobe50 either owns 31626 or knows where it is. It would be cool if all of these could make it to one owner for a display or all owners get together. Juss a thought. RR - do you still have the 4?

Correct... only "Report", "Quote" and "Reply".
As I understand it, a few others were having issues as well... the old original posts from the original site couldn't be edited by the person who did the original post.

Admin is looking to see if anything can being done.
Seems many ( all? ) threads that migrated from old software to new may be this way. If so, it may be a software compatibility issue and we're stuck with it.

I remember also the new software wasn't very welcoming to editing anything and some tweaks were made but dont recall all those particulars right this minute.

Regardless, for now please hit the REPORT button and state what you need done. REPORT shows up to ALL Mods and Admin.

Sometimes I do a serial number search of an old Ruger I pick up. Once in a while, a Ruger I've bought shows up in a post by a previous owner here on Rugerforum. I finally got around to doing a serial number search for my converted 44Spl/44-40 357 Flattop I got a year or two ago. It showed up in one thread - this one. Luckily it wasn't originally a 10" gun.

Admin, please add 36071 and 37647 as 10" 8-groove.
That now makes 93 of the 10" 8-groove noted.

They are out there... just gotta beat the pavement to find them.
Ruger collecting seriously is a treasure hunt!! I've said for a long time that probably only 20% at most of the rarest Rugers have ever been put away into a collection. The other 80% are in somebody's closet or lock box without the slightest idea of the rarity. The only exception is the factory Engraved Single-Six of which around 50% have been accounted for.
