Factory supplied base on mini question. Not sure what size the screws are that come with the base. My gun is the 583 serial number. They are small. My wheeler fat wrench says torq to 30 in lbs. on base screws. Seems like a bit much for such small screws. Ruger base had no recommended torq. I normally use a drop of 242 blue locktite. Any suggestions on torq would be GREATLY appreciated

Stainless #8-32 and #8-36 screws have a maximum torque of 20-22 in-lbs; I definitely wouldn't go above 25 on the Ruger base screws and would think 20 would be sufficient with thread locker.
