Sonic... There are very few around here, and far enough away, I might not see one for months at a time. The Sonic's around here are strategically placed where I'd have to drive on the freeways from hell, and pass thru no-mans land for acquisition

But, even if I wasn't hungry, I would drop in for a 50-cent corndog if I had the opportunity.

Everytime I east at Sonic, I get a headache afterwards. There are a few places where that happens.

Dairy Queen on the other hand, has incredibly good corn dogs. Which are one of my most favorite foods.

Heck, for fifty cents & I was closer to a Sonic I'd have to give one a try.

Otherwise, I love the ones at the county fair where you can watch them put a fresh unfrozen dog on a stick & dip it in the fresh batter, & deep fry while ya wait.

Gourmet corndogs right there.

Closest one is 11 miles away. So nearly $5 of CA gas for a round trip to save a buck on a corndog. A lot of places in SoCal offer opening day prices on some anniversary dates. Philippe's a very good sandwich place gets lines over 2 blocks and nearly 4 hours long - sorry my time is worth more than saving 6 bucks on a sandwich. https://www.philippes.com/

Wish there was a sonic in my area. I love their fast food! Guess I'll have to microwave my own corn dog today.

Sonics here in middle Tn are as ubiquitous as Waffle House. It was for Thursday only. I didn’t make it to one. It will happen again.

ya gotta picture the same stuff that forms on your teeth if you don't brush (plaque) sticking to the walls of your blood veins. then maybe you have a chance to beat the temptation to eat that poison.

And you dip the end in a pile mustard, right?

Corn dogs are gross. I prefer pretzel dogs. Nathens makes the best frozen pretzel dogs in the world. 90 seconds in the microwave to get the middles hot then if you aren’t in a rush 3 minutes in the toaster oven to crisp the pretzel. They are great plain. Or Slice it length wise add some chopped onions or relish if you are inclined.

Seriously the best hotdog experience I’ve ever had.
