Re: Clicking links in posts

Right click on the link then click "open in new tab" Thanks. I do that mostly unless I want to view it immediately. In other browsers clicking the link opens in a new tab and goes to it. I often don't want to go immediately, just open it to be ready later, so I do the right click thing. I...

Clicking links in posts

When I click a link in a post it opens in this tab. I am using Chrome. I've looked at Chrome for a setting to open links in a new tab but can't find that anywhere. Is there a setting here somewhere that would open links in a new tab? Or anyone know how to do that in Chrome? Thanks.

Re: Start Up After Vehicle Sits

Even in Michigan at 10 degrees overnight you park your truck and a few minutes later move it about 3-4 feet so the tires don't freeze to the ground. Haven't heard of parking on planks, just moving far enough to get the tires out of the thawed puddles.

Re: Start Up After Vehicle Sits

I'm a firm believer in letting the engine warm before driving off, not just throwing it in gear the instant the engine starts. That's why I start the engine first and then fasten my seatbelt. Gives time for the engine to warm while I pull the belt out and click it in place.

Re: Start Up After Vehicle Sits

And again, is this only Ford or anything. I have a Mazda. I'd hate to try it and have the engine fire and zoom to 12,000 rpm.

Re: Start Up After Vehicle Sits

Guess I wasn't paying enough attention. This works on Fords or on anything? Push pedal to floor and then press start button twice to get to full on mode but with foot not on brake car isn't starting?

I put mine in sleep mode every night. I restart it whenever it tells me an update is ready. So far, so good.

Re: .22LR ammo new pricing . . . UPDATED

I think 79c for a box of 50 was the lowest price I ever experienced. And if you couldn't afford it you could buy however many rounds you wanted for 2c each. The good old days when the local hardware store meant something.

Re: What Would You Do?

I'd probably contact Ruger and make sure no matter what they would return that specific gun with S/N whatever it is to me. If yes, I'd send it to them. I've heard a lot of good reports on their NC (I think it is) facility so I'd probably try to send it there.

Re: Short conversation....

My phone is set so it will only ring if the number is in one of my contacts. Anyone not in the first circle it just winds up in voicemail. Most hang up but a few leave messages about my warranty or buying my house or whatever. I've had as many as 6 illegal phone calls in one day, being illegal as I'...

Re: Naked and afraid

If it's a flying trip I guess you're out of luck. If it's a driving trip then as long as no metal detectors are involved at places visited who knows if that's a wallet or an LCP in your front pocket. Odds are probably about 99.997 to 0.003 of anyone actually finding out and if they do it's very poss...

Re: Marvelous inventions

I don't know about that mute button Fox Mike. My wife mutes all the good commercials I actually might see so I don't know where the sale is etc. Then she forgets to un mute when my favorite show comes back on and I miss all the plot twists because I don't hear the important characters talking. Work...

Re: how many carry a flashlite?

I've carried a small powerful light as companion to my CCW for several years but lately, I find it more difficult to see in low light while doing tasks around the farm. To make things easier, I began carrying a 200+ lumen compact light on my belt full time. Surprising how often that light gets used...

Tell him ahead of time "Be sure to bring at least 200 rounds of ammo with you."?
