dont know how much faster you will show, but the 3" just balances a whole lot nicer.....

I did the same thing back in my "anal about velocity" phase.

The really nice thing about the SP101 is that it does not suffer from the ammo and strength limitations of the S&W 19/66/65/13 series. Any factory 357 ammo that you can stuff into it should not hurt the gun. Maybe you, but not the gun.
