I have an old-model .44 carbine - circa 1967. Would like to mount a red dot sight on it via a Picatinny rail mount.

Before I just have my gunsmith mil a custom base, does anyone know of a source for this (or ANY) scope mount for the old model carbine?

Thanks!

I don't know who made it. Mine is a one piece and the scope is a 1" red dot scope.

Or you could get the two piece mounts and attach a base to it and then your scope. Might be less money.
