My condo association doesn't allow dogs so I get my dog fix by volunteering at a no kill shelter. I take them to adoption events and show them. Shelter dogs are so grateful for any attention given to them.

Wow, that seems like a long time for that size dog. My miniature poodle made it to 18 but definitely slid in sideways, well lived. We all know that Dog spelled backwards is God. Coincidence? I think not.
