Okay. You folks have confirmed my own thoughts on this matter. I am going with a Marlin, but I want it my way. I want a new Marlin/Ruger in 30/30 with a straight stock. Is it possible to put an aftermarket straight stock on the rifle?

Got the new-to-me RSI out to the range yesterday and find this rifle is my new favorite shooter. I took a few shots at 25 yards to get the scope on and put two shots through the same hole! Not as great at 100 yards, but perfect for hunting. I need to shoot it more off the bench for sure. Racking...
