Are we on the brink of another Obama ammo/component shortage

I have a nice air rifle that might see more use than anything. Cheap, and allows me to save my ammo. I only have like 5,000 pellets. :)

How to order Ruger parts by number?

    Give Ruger a call :)

    SR9 MAGS

I mad a promise to myself 4 years ago. CTD will never EVER again see business from me. Pathetic is the only word I was able to come up with for whoever runs that "company". Its up to us gun owners to avoid them and allow them to fail.

Need help deciding what gun to buy for EDC

LCP would be fine, though I dont know that I could conceal one in a pocket. I have an NAA Mini .22mag that is in my pocket (in holster) every day and everywhere I go.

    Sr40c Holster choices

I believe they are close enough in size that they fit in the same holster. Not 100% sure, never seen an SR40c in person! I have a N82 Tactical Professional IWB holster. Absolute comfort! I'll never buy another brand of IWB holster, these rock! Worth every penny of the $73 (rounded) that I...

    SR9C Bullets tumbling

If the barrel is free of copper and lead fouling, contact Ruger. Maybe a new barrel is needed, and they will take care of you. Test some factory FMJ first to make sure. pictures of the targets would help us (and Ruger) make a better decision.

WTS Original equipment 10/22 trigger assembly

Metal? Put it on Rimfirecentral.com. Will sell fast and I bet fully loaded you will get $80-100! My 10/22 is from 2003. All metal TG. I will never sell it :) I also have a ~24oz trigger using factory internals, and yes, its safe! The internals came from Hornet Products, actually, but to get...

    Opening Day Michigan Whitetail!

Good job! I have an old Remington 141 gamemaster in .35 remington (pump rifle for those that don't know). It shoots 2" groups at 50 off a front rest with the iron sights...I don't hunt, but my great grandfather did and I imagine he took quite a few deer and other animals out west! I love the...

SR40C - To buy or not to buy?

I have 260 rounds through my SR9c in only a week of ownership, with zero malfunctions of any kind! I would say get the SR40c if you want the bigger caliber! I don't mind a 9mm and I am already set up to reload (for range ammo) so it was an easy choice. Ruger's website has a few...

    Accu-Strut for the Mini?

I have a 196 mini-14 (skinny barrel). I added an Accu-Strut LT. My groups really did shrink in roughly half. Of course I only have Iron sights (no scope mount, I don't have the Ranch Rifle), but from what I have seen, its $100 well spent. The Stainless finish matches my stainless gun almost...

    Reloading PRACTICE defensive ammo?

Ok, to clear some things up. First: I asked about loading, not legalities. If anyone wants to comment on legalities they can start their own thread :) I specifically put in my first post that I was going to be carrying FACTORY loads, so that is that. Second: I load 115gr FMJ ammo, and I have...

    Mini 14 Tactical

Try some 5.56x45 NATO ammo!!! 55gr does good. I have found it a bit more accurate in the Mini, because they ARE chambered to 5.56 dimensions. XM193 is what I have used. The manual explains its perfectly OK to shoot 5.56 in all but the heavy barrel Mini-14 Target models. Looks nice, I have a...

Great Customer Service for Front Sight Issue on LC9

Wow, thats pretty awesome! You won't be without a gun :) The more I read about how great Ruger customer service is, the more I am glad that I purchased my SR9c :) That and I do love shooting it!

    Gotta get a 9mm pistol.

I sure hope the other person is legal to own a handgun... ;) I mean, it would be TERRIBLE if you had to keep the gun yourself :) hehe I have fired an M&P .40 cal. NICE gun, accurate and comfy in hand. My SR9c is a good gun as well, I just have to get back into pistol shooting, you could say I'm...
