480! My Alaskan is the 480 and I reload 325 & 400 Gr. Hornady XTP's and Huntindawgs 400Gr.RNFP Hard Cast. The 400 Gr Hard Cast hit like a brick.

24's are out there but you don't see a lot in that caliber. They vary from field grade to fancy, been around since the 40's or 50's. I have several and pick them up whenever I see one at a fair price.

A couple of my Ruger AR556's have a Cerakote finish on the uppers / lower's. It's a finish they use from the factory. I don't think it's available as a DIY product like Duracoat and other products

Sounds like it's time to get a few in the Classified section. I have several P Series to move, 93's, 94's, 95 and a KP89X. Most if not all are NIB with everything as they come from the factory. Have a KP345 to.

The 9MM uses a tapered guide rod with an uncaptured recoil spring. The 30 Luger guide rod is not tapered and has a captured recoil spring as you can see in the pic. I have a few set's, 30 Luger barrel/ guide rod, spring. I don't want to break up the set's. I'll look for just the guide rod and spring

It won't work right with the 9 MM. I'll look, I know I have a few and I'm selling everything P- Series. I know I bought everything Ruger had a few years back.

I've considered many times sending my old three screw back for re-bluing wondering what the finished gun would look like. The gun has no issues other than a little holster wear at the muzzle. I don't think I'm even concerned about it reflecting negatively on the value. It's a 1958, SN 25xxx so...

My first GP was a 4" Police trade-in DAO. I swapped out the spurless DAO hammer for a spurred, gave it a polish and a set of Hogue Tamer grips. My 6" is factory stock other than the Hogue Tamer grip.
