This belongs to a friend of mine that is not too internet knowledgeable about selling and he has asked me to help him with this. This is a MKI pistol w/adj.sites that shows (Ruger site info) to have been made in 1961. I have seen this pistol and it is (at least) a 95% gun. No box and no papers...

NcSTAR scopes are JUNK. ALL NcSTAR scopes are JUNK! Look at some of the Burris, Bushnell, Redfield or Nikon scopes.

Not close at all. Chinese junk. Buy American!

I enjoy all my .22s but none would be my only handgun. This new one looks nice but I won't be getting one anytime soon. 8)

No experience here but all I have read say they are junk. Ruger in name ONLY ! :cry:

2) Please put at least your state in your profile (for FFL reasons) This is quite important when dealing with potential buyers in some areas (Not all guns are approved in CA for example.) We will start deleting new classifieds that have not indicated any type of location.

There are three threads about this in the "Ruger Rifles, Shotguns and Carbines" forum.

While the SR-556 seems to be a fine AR with many happy owners, Ruger, simply wants too much money for it. I can (and have) done better (as in $) with other ARs that will do the same thing as this rifle will. Just as with the new 1911, Ruger has done nothing someone hasn't already done better...

It will as I put my old GB that was in a BC folder in the synthetic stock of a late model tactical (standard butt) stock and it fit like a glove. :mrgreen:
