    .357 Accuracy Woes

I sized the brass in a 'U' die. I used lead bullets being pushed. It was the residue-ring in the chambers that impeded fast reloads.

Loading to the Max and then some.

Not sure; bent the 44, but not the 357s, 41, or 45 Colt. Of course, it ain't yet over........

    Dillon reloading presses?

When I was beginning my commercial operation I bought my Dillon XL650 after I learned CorBon had a room full........

Sealing you ammo for wet weather

But what if you were surfacing from a submarine? Just sayin', all very hypothetically 8)

Loading .38 SPL, only using .357 brass instead

Ditto Mr. Terry; I use 357 Magnum cases. Data abounds.

All loads should be developed with specific goals. Since the bullet we choose does the actual terminal work, we should start with that.

All very theoretically, perhaps a certain poster here has pushed a few of his supply of R-P 110g JHPs past 2,000fps from his 7.5" 357 Redhawk, just because..... Perhaps it was in new sized cases, ignited with CCI550s, and very firmly crimped. Perhaps..... 8)

    .357 Accuracy Woes

Last match my GP launched 110g R-P JHPs over Universal, ignited by Federal 200s. Yes I made Major. Yes the squad admired my fireballs. Match before I used 158g LRN over AA9, but they gummed up the chambers. Both my KGP-141s exhibit uncanny accuracy, as long as the ammo is good

    Chronograph?

I use a PACT One. It (also) calculates ES and SD. I gain load confidence by shooting and recording hundreds of rds, because statistics can be misleading......

    another Redhawk down

So I went and picked up my gun last night (only 120 miles from my house! -drove it down to them, too), and was told it was so dirty the ejection button was binding, keeping the cylinder from closing. It was recommended that when I pull a gun from the safe after sitting nine years I should clean...

    Redhawk Handloader

I have. When I was done I sold my 45 Colt Redhawk (and kept the 44; enough). A bit of data here: http://pennbullets.com/Testimonials/testimonials.html Look under "1911 Forum Discussion" in "Customer Comments" The Redhawk is way-tough.
