    Our SA is an XD from 2001 or so and is in .357 SIG, fine pistol and caliber!

    Scopes

    As my husband has gotten older and so have the eyes he has his Marlin .45-70 scoped now. He has one of the low end Leupold variables, not sure of the model but it is 1.5 - 4 X 20 and has the European three plex post style reticle.

    Good looking Randall! We used to have four here, but as we both age three have been passed on to our Niece and Nephews, passing them down and keeping in the family, another generation to use, love and enjoy as should happen. :)

    Ruger no1 450/400 NE local find

    Great looking rifle and scope rig! My husband has a scope that looks similar and is Leupold low variable 1.5-5. His has the European three post plex which he loves on the Marlin 1895 in .45-70 we have here.

    Beautiful rifle! I can't imagine me shooting one but that is something I can imagine my husband wanting just in case a safari came our way.
