Anybody ever heard of such a thing as a .22lr conversion for the SR9? Thanks for your time!

I'm a noob, but I figured I'd give this a shot... Anybody have any suggestions or methods for (safely) working the slide on the SR9 with one hand? Like pushing down against a hard surface with the front sight? I don't plan to use the method, but this is a "just in case" scenario... Thanks in...
