So, what was the outcome? Did you send it back to Ruger? Did they fix it? I picked up a scout a couple months ago and am having same problem. Called Ruger and they said try different ammo. Tried it, problem continued. Haven't sent it back yet.

What did Ruger say / do to remedy your problem? I just bought a Scout and am having the same issue. I thought it might be an ammo issue so I picked up a few different brands to see if that helps. Haven't shot the new ammo yet but after reading your post I'm not optimistic.
