I have been told that the reason 10/22s were discontinued was receiver cracking. Maybe that's why I bought mine for $100. It's in new condition. I also bought 7 No3s at the same time for $400 each.

I have laminated factory stocks on stainless left hand rifles in all calibers then available from 25-06 through .375 Ruger. Never a problem with any of them. The 7Mag has been all over the west hunting and it never loses zero.
