    New Ruger on the way!

Paul, Nice response! I used to live in both Southern CA and Northern CA, but moved to the Phoenix area in 2000. I also got my adult daughter to shoot my guns, and she loved it, but has done it only once. She lives in Southern CA. We will be going to southern CA to visit her and stay at the beach...

    New Ruger on the way!

Welcome Paul. Where do you hail from? I am in AZ. I also have a Ruger GP100 6" SS revolver, and it is my third Ruger revolver. And since a powerful handgun seems to be new to you, for self defense be careful to not use really powerful ammo that would easily go thru walls and doors. Look for ammo...

    OM 357 question

Contender, I am sorry to say but I do not think that your info is incorrect. Ruger use to make spare 9mm cylinders for people who own .357 Mag revolvers already, but I got into the program too late. I might have been successful if I thought about it and asked when I sent in mine for the upgrade...

    OM 357 question

I have exactly the same Ruger .357 Mag, with a 6 1/2 barrel. I bought it in 1966 and it does not have the orange insert. It has been a terrific gun, and I had it upgraded in 2014 so I can load all 6 chambers safely now. Ruger upgraded it for free, and sent me all the parts that ever changed, in...

    9 mm Ammo

And add in the bullet costs, which probably brings the cost for just those two components to over $16/rd. What is then the total cost?

    9 mm Ammo

It is not too clear what a 'box' is to you, but if it is 50 rounds, than that means it is costing you $.16/rd, which I find rather hard to believe with today's escalated pricing for just about everything. Unless you are getting your casings for free, I would guess that the casing and bullet...

    9 mm Ammo

Where are you located in order to get Georgia Arms ammo directly without any shipping costs? I have ordered ammo from them online (I am in AZ) in the non recent past, and their prices were reasonably good back then, but they kind of disappeared due to COVID. I am getting email ads from them...

    Great link!

    9 mm Ammo

And what are 'these'? I cannot tell from your pics. Also, I try very hard to keep the ammo I buy below $.75/rd, although when I buy the higher powered handgun ammo for my calibers, such as from Buffalo Bore, it can easily go up to $1 -$2.50/rd, which I only buy in very, very limited quantity.

    9 mm Ammo

I would like to know where these ammo test are online. So far, I have only found such 'tests' on You Tube, and most of these are very biased and offer extremely limited testing - they choose a specific ammo and compare it to a different caliber, which really tells you very little since in the...

    9 mm Ammo

I do not think that Blazer aluminum 9 mm ammo this is the lowest costing 9mm ammo today. I have seen several ads for 9mm ammo that costs between $.24 - $.25 and these are NOT Blazer aluminum ammo. I get 10-20 emails a day about ammo sale, and almost all of these include 9mm ammo. If you are...

    9 mm Ammo

While I do not own any pistols, I have a Ruger .45 Convertible Blackhawk, which allows me the ability to shoot either the .45LC or the .45ACP with a cylinder swap. I have found early own that the steel wolf ammo is a bit of a problem, and I stay away from all steel ammo. Since my gun is a...
