    If I go with a new/rebuilt bolt and bolt hold later (summer?) I'll also install a Tandem extractor. Right now,when the new Ruger extractor comes next week,I'll go with it for the time being.

    Words discribing how easy the take down of the Mark IV is,are harder to come by than the actual "pistol take down". You won't regret your purchase!

    The "side ambi" comes from the factory "installed", along with the spacer if one chooses to remove. Yes,very nice photos and comparison!

    Excellant shooting and good looking pistol. I too removed the right hand safety. One of these days I'll investigate a "pistol scope" and or Red dot setup.

    Mark IV sighted

    Yep. This last adjustment was carried out with a completely cleaned gun and a handful of 38gr Remington Golden Hollow bullets. Followed with a few 40 rnd boxes of 38gr American Eagle copper plated HP. All freehand. We all know the gun is way more accurate than the shooter... :oops:
