    P90 vs. P345

That's a useful post for me thanks! I've been thinking about looking for a P97 and a P345 to go with the P90. The P97 wasn't around long and I was wondering how those who own one like them before I look around for a used one. I fired a friends P95 and liked it and it shares about the same...

    P90 vs. P345

I was at a Gun Shop awhile back. It's called the Cop Shop and everybody that works behind the counter are cops or retired cops. The guy waiting on me was pressing me hard trying to sell me FN's new wonder .45ACP. The other guy working actually got bent out of shape when I announced the most...

And here I was actually thinking I was alone in that regard!

    Mini-30 Owners opinion

I own a MAK-90 made by Norinco. The Chinese AK's are some of the best made AK's there are outside of high end custom jobs. The Navy Seals selected Chinese Type-56's for their inventory. My friend has a Norinco M1911 and I was shocked at how well they were made too. Shame they can't be imported...

is it possible to change the sights on an older mini 14?

The Williams FP 11/87 TK is for the Ranch Style. The Williams FP-Mini-14-TK is for the original or non-ranch style.

Yeah, I've followed the posts on the Accubar. Makes it look more like a M-14 too.

is it possible to change the sights on an older mini 14?

I used the Carbine and M1903 rear sight with no problem. It sat about the same level and the peep slides to compensate. That said, one thing I did not mention is that the marked range settings aren't the same when on the Mini so you do have to do a little sighting in to figure which one is right...

is it possible to change the sights on an older mini 14?

Unless you really have your heart set on the Ghost Ring I'd like to offer a couple of options. I have changed rear sights on two different Ranch Models in the past. Two good rear sights to consider are as follows: 1. Rear Sight Assembly for the M1903A3 Springfield. A lot of people use the rear...

    Ruger in .45ACP

I guess all those owners of S&W and Taurus revolvers in .45 ACP misunderstood what they were purchasing. I have to believe it would cost more money to purchase a RedHawk and then pay a custom gunsmith to modify it than buy a model already chambered for that caliber. I respect your opinion but...

    Ruger in .45ACP

Well, It would seem I stirred up a hornets nest with this question. So far, it's seems 50/50. I've added a poll to the original question for those interested.

    Ruger in .45ACP

I read a article awhile back about reaming the cylinder like that. I think it was by John Tappit. Doesn't that allow the use of 45 Auto Rim in addition to .45 LC and .45 ACP?

Please explain why Smith & Wesson has reintroduced the M-1917 and they are selling like gang busters?

    Ruger in .45ACP

Lot of people not here tonight that would argue the .45ACP being weak. But they can't because they're dead. Actually, I believe that low velocity is one of it's strong points. A big hunk of lead that dumps it's energy quickly and causes a lot of discontent on impact.

    Ruger in .45ACP

Well, I stand corrected! I see that they do offer a blackhawk single action convertible. But... I'd still like to know why they don't offer a Double Action in .45 ACP.

    Ruger in .45ACP

Yes, I did mean DA Revolvers. And according to Ruger's website and catalog, the only thing offered in .45ACP is the P90 and P345. The only 45 offering they show in revolvers is 45 Long Colt. If they ever did offer a revolver in .45ACP I don't know. That's why I'm asking you folks. But they don't...
