    medium frame 41 Mg.?

While a fan of the 41 magnum, I have the stainless Blackhawk Hunter, and the 5.5” stainless Bisley to go with the Marlin 1894FG. With full magnum loads I would prefer as much weight as possible since I am getting old and no longer enjoy recoil. But a lightweight 41 Special would be perfect for...

    Praise for the 41 Magnum

I think you should sell it- to me! Then it will go with the 5-1/2” stainless Bisley, the 7-1/2” SBH Hunter, and the Marlin 1894FG.

Ruger announces release of Deerfield Carbine in 357 Magnum

Not to be a kill-joy, but I’ll take mine in 41 Magnum. Should work with the 44 Mag magazine with a different follower. More power than the 357, less recoil than the 44 Magnum- my favorite caliber. I also realize the chances are about zero. But I can wish!

Mark IV: (or any Mk) How long do extractors typically last?

Just checked my log- mine works fine after 24,850 rds. If it breaks the next time I shoot it, I am blaming you!

    New Bisley 44

I have two just like that, except mine are in 41 Magnum and 45 Colt/ 45 ACP. Love them!

    Progressive press?

I agree with Snake45! I have been reloading since the early 1970's, and I have not saved a penny- but I have shot a whole lot more than I would have if I had been buying factory! I can also load what I want, in caliber and in performance. During the ammo shortage a few years ago, I never slowed...

GP100 rear sight pin floats out ?

No problem with my 3 Blackhawks, but both of my GP-100s(4” and 6”)have the problem, which thanks to “contender”, I will fix as soon as I get home! Thanks guys!

    New GP 100 22LR

Thinking along the same lines myself- can’t decide between the S&W or Ruger GP100. Have larger versions of both in other calibers. S&W has a better single action, but there is something about the GP100 that keeps me coming back. Maybe the 4” and 6” 357s that I also have!

    .45 Throat reamer

I sent both cylinders of my convertible to DougGuy for reaming and could not be any happier. He did an excellent job, the turn around time was less than a week, and he kept me informed on his progress. And the guns shoot great with cast bullets! Will be sending him cylinders from my 41 magnums...

    Blackhawk 41 mag hunter

Really like mine(regular grip, not Bisley which I prefer). Seems to be very accurate with any 210-220 gr bullet and 7-8 grains of Unique or H- Universal. Now just need to find a good hunting load.

Anyone have a Super Blackhawk Hunter in 41 ?

Love mine! Got it as a companion to my Marlin 1894 FG. Planned on putting some type of optic on it for hunting, but haven't yet. Rapidly approaching 70, my eyes don't do iron sights well, but this gun shoots as well as any I have ever used. With the long barrel, it is a bit muzzle heavy, but I...

    Screwdrivers for Blackhawk

Thanks 32shooter, that is exactly what I need.

    Screwdrivers for Blackhawk

Does anyone make a set of Gunsmithing screwdrivers specifically for the Ruger Blackhawk? There is a company that makes a set for Marlin lever actions but I can't remember who. I know I can file down screwdrivers to fit, and I have a Chapman set of bits for most of my guns, but the bit...

Who here has a Stainless Bisley Blackhawk 41 Mag. 5.5 inch ?

Cbnutt As a fan of the 41 magnum, your posting about a stainless 5-1/2" Bisley piqued my interest. I recently acquired a Super Blackhawk Hunter in 41 mag to go with my Marlin 1894 FG. After seeing your post, I made the mistake of checking GunBroker for Bisley 41 Magnums. Unfortunately, they had...

    41 Mag/ 265 gr WN FP GC

I bought the bullets to experiment in the Marlin rifle. Just wanted to see if anyone had any load data for the heavier bullet in the Super Blackhawk Hunter. Guess I will just stick with "normal" bullets in the 175-220 gr range. Will probably be less recoil any way!
