The $1200 Mini 14 new at my LGS

Prices were lower but then again so were wages, when I got married in 1980 I was making $4 an hr working in a cabinet shop, $160 for a 40 hr week before taxes, average for our area, I remember many times I/we couldn't do anything but stay home because we didn't have anything left after...

    Ruger PC Carbine: Got wood?

From $350 to $465, not bad considering it's custom.

    Are early Glocks collectible?

They're collected by a certain bunch, not yet recognized by the masses, they do sell for a premium, you just have to find the right buyer. The box and manual is a plus.

    Any short torso people here?

Be careful with small of the back carry, if for whatever reason you fall backwards and land on your gun it can really hurt your spine, can be from just painful to really dangerous.

Looking to sell a Ruger Mark II 10" Stainless 22.

The price you quote would be for a regular pistol, that 10" barrel plus low round count commands a premium, $600 + in my opinion

Would you consider carrying in a "murse"?

We camped out a few days recently and my son says, Dad you should see my European man bag, he laughingly says I also call it my murse, anyway he put on this tanned leather satchel looking thing, wasn't very big and didn't look feminine at all, wore it on his chest like a cross draw holster, did...

    Bought a mini 14 today.

Very nice, I was in the same boat for a long time, finally found a Mini30, started doing all the do it yourself improvements found on YouTube, shoots like a dream now, last one was the throwing of the brass into the next county, fixed that by replacing the gas bushing, now the brass drops in a...

Same synthetic Mini stock for the 14 and the 30?

Years ago I bought a Mini 30, later on I replaced the wood stock with a Houge (spel?) one, I recently found a Mini 14 in .300 BLK with a composite stock, didn't like that so I replaced it with the wood stock I had from the 30, it fit perfectly, now you may say that they are both .30 caliber but...

    Break Free LCP

I've been using Break Free for many years, I had always fell for all the " new improved whiz bang cleaner " that they'll come out with but after using it for a bit and seeing their faults would always come back to Break Free. I've learned my lesson and a few years ago I bought a large jug of it...

    Bullet Pullers

Kinetic hammers are fine for a few, but if you have a bunch to do those pullers are the way to go in my experience, when you figure how much pressure you need to make the pull they'll come out without any marks, it does take some finesse to achieve that. Anyone who has been reloading for some...

Comparing Ruger SR 1911 to other major brands

I happen to have a Kimber, Springfield, old Remington and a Ruger, love shooting all my 1911's, they all work like they should.
