Flatgate, Thanks for the reply. Do you think that the silver soldering will discolor the blueing enough to necessitate a reblue? If so its probably something better left to ruger. That is a beautiful early flattop. Wish mine was that clean! Is that before or after the repair? Thanks, Tim
